This is a great location for the family to escape the heat of the more extreme days of summer.

Insider Info

There are some mild hazards at this location so consider bringing some floaties or a boogie board for the little ones.

There is easy access to the river from the day use area via steps to launch canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and other paddle craft. 

Be extra careful as it can get quite slippery.

Access Honeymoon Pool from Wellington Dam Road via Falcon Road and Lennard Drive.

Consider staying overnight at the Honeymoon Pool campground. The campground has 20 individual tent sites, complete with barbeques and picnic tables.
