A peaceful and tranquil setting - the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Located a short 9.5km away from Dwellingup, Dwaarlindjirraap in Lane Poole Reserve provides amazing respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Enjoy a relaxing swim in the deep cool water or canoe/kayak up the river, surrounded by tall Jarrah trees.

The area is a popular spot for experienced canoeists and kayakers during winter due to the rapids and fast currents. Throughout the remainder of the year the water is calm and ideal for a dip.

The area is equipped with tables, drop toilets and BBQ pits, making it a great spot to enjoy a picnic or lunch.

Insider Info

River access is via stairs.

Bring floaties and pool toys for kids as the river is very deep - there are no shallow paddling areas other than the bottom of the steps which drop off into deep water.

There are some great rocks for exploring or for soaking up the sun but do note that they are very slippery near the waters edge.

Access

Entry is via the Lane Poole Reserve Entry Station, off Nanga Road, and is accessible by 2WD.

Access to the river is via two large sets of steps.
