Overlooking the Swan River, Bardon Park is a wonderful spot with opportunities galore for nature play! 


Bardon Park has both a nature-based playground and traditional play equipment for kids 3+. 

The nature playground is set under a big, shady tree and is perfect for climbing, swinging and sand play. 



The cable flying fox is a sure to be a hit with the kids.



Beautiful native plants are abundant, with interactive sculptures hidden throughout the area.




There are also some gorgeous garden nooks to explore.



Shade sails cover the large sand play area and traditional playground equipment.



Additional features of the playground and surrounding area include: 

  • musical play equipment,
  • turtle and snail sculptures to climb,
  • the Bardon Park jetty (great for fishing, boating and paddling),
  • the lake,
  • and the dry creek bed with a water fountain that will keep the kids entertained.


The park's location on the Swan River also guarantees breathtaking views and lots of bird life. 

With all the water in and around the playground, please ensure your children are safe at all times, and consider bringing a towel and change of clothes. 



There are also wide pathways, perfect for bike, scooter and leisurely walks.
