Perry Lakes Playground
121 Alderbury St, Floreat
Perry Lakes Reserve offers a nature playground, a conventional playground, a skate park, natural bushland, wetlands, a great network of walking paths and plenty of shady trees, BBQ facilities and lights for night time access. It's fair to say it has it all!
The reserve is home to a variety of waterbirds and is located nearby the Reabold Hill lookout, the highest natural point along the coast.
The nature playground offers a lovely array of nature play equipment including a nest swing, hammock and climbing frames.
A nearby traditional playground is also popular with the kids, set on lovely white sand to play in too!
Traditional swings and a spider web climber are also very popular with the kids.
To the south of the reserve is a large, sandpit prefabricated play area with BBQ facilities and picnic tables available for public use. There are also some lovely seating options throughout the reserve, including this gazebo, as well as plenty of grassed areas for picnics.
Public fitness equipment is dotted throughout the park.
One of the city’s largest free skateboarding facilities is located to the north of the park, in Alderman Reserve on Perry Lakes Drive.
This skate park offers terrain to suit beginner and more established skaters, including a deep bowl, flat slow-cement, grinding rails and jumps.
Accessibility
Public restrooms to the south of the park are wheelchair accessible.
