See route

50 km from Perth
Level: Beginner (all amentities)

Ideal for water babies and bird lovers.

Swim or canoe in the crisp clear waters, enjoy a picnic on the white sandy beaches, walk/cycle the 3km path around the lake, and be on the lookout for the abundance of bird life – including ducks, swamp hens, geese and herons - and native animals, such as kangaroos and possums, that reside here.

The campground is just an hour from Perth and is equipped with great facilities including hot showers, flushing toilets, BBQs, a camp kitchen (complete with a kettle and microwave), playground and fire pits.

There is even a café on the side of the lake that serves a great hot breakfast!

There are 20 canoes for hire at Lake Leschenaultia between 10am and 3pm on weekends, public holidays, and every day during the school holidays.
